Outer Island Airports Pavement Maintenance, Labasa, Savusavu, Rotuma, Matei & Lakeba, Fiji Islands

Flame Tree was awarded the contract for maintenance of the outer island airports is in form of strip refurbishment, pavement surface rehabilitation and drainage improvements. The scope of works for upgrade of pavement and strips for Outer Islands Package 1 works includes:

• Rehabilitation of existing pavement surfaces on the non-keel section of the runway at Labasa Airport and upgrade of existing boundary fence.

• Rehabilitation of existing pavement surfaces for runway, taxiway and both aprons at Savusavu Airport.

• Rehabilitation of existing unsealed access road and unsealed car park pavements at Savusavu Airport.

• Rehabilitation of existing pavement surfaces for runway, taxiway and apron at Lakeba and Rotuma airports.

• Rehabilitation of existing flexible pavement surfaces for runway and apron section and replacement of rigid pavement section on runway and apron at Matei airports.

The Contractor’s scope also includes the provision of seal designs, survey level and quality control through the project duration.
